Chris Grabbe is the OG and the leader of Whiskey Bound and has been in the music scene since he was old enough to remember. Coming from a very musical family Chris has played in multiple bands before creating his own. Playing multiple instruments such as piano, sax, harmonica, banjo, mandolin, organ, bass, lead, and rhythm guitar as well as providing lead and backup vocals, Chris constantly remains busy.
When Whiskey Bound is not playing Chris plays Keyboard and Sax in the band called “The Roadrunners” where his father Bud Grabbe plays drums, his mother Barb Grabbe sings vocals and his little brother Steve plays bass guitar (like I said musical family).
Chris’ influences are: Stevie Ray Vaughan, John Popper, Blake Shelton, Lynryd Skynyrd, and Chris Stapleton.
Chris is originally from Wooster, OH, but just recently moved to Salem, Ohio with his family and dogs.
